Skype och 3 i samarbete kring gemensam telefon?

Det ryktas om att Skype och 3 samarbetar om att ta fram en gemensam mobiltelefonmodell som ska göra det lättare för kunderna att ringa gratis över Internet.

Enligt den brittiska tidningen Guardian kommer telefonen att lanseras innan årsskiftet och kosta mindre än 100 GBP.

Så här kommenterar 3 ryktena i ett uttalande:

"3 and a leading internet communications company are working together to produce an exciting new product to make free internet calls completely mobile. We?re not releasing any details at the moment but you can expect something that combines our strengths in mobility, value and innovation.
The move marks a radical step forward in operator thinking and will mobilise internet calls for a mass market. It will also close the gap between internet communications and mobile calling and is something you won?t see from any other operator."
