Verisign vill avyttra InCodes konsultverksamhet

Amerikanska Verisign, som för knappt ett år sedan köpte konsultbolaget InCode, har nu ångrat sig och ändrat sin strategi. Nu ska Verisign fokusera sig på sin sina kärnkompetenser Internet och säkerhet. Därmed kommer koncernens övriga affärsområden att avyttras på ett eller annat sätt. Det informerar Bengt Nordström, chef för InCodes verksamheter i Emea-området, i ett brev till Telekomnyheterna i dag.

"The process of finding a new corporate structure for the Strategy Consulting services has started but it is too early to speculate on the exact form and timing for this to take effect, but very little if anything is likely to happen in the near time frame. What is clear though is that our Strategy Consulting group as such will continue to operate as normal and serve you and other clients with the same high caliber objective strategy advice that you are used to, now and going forward. So in the short and medium term there will be no impact at all on our business relationship nor on our abilities to continue to work with you, and in parallel we and the VeriSign corporate will be looking for a suitable long term corporate structure allowing us to continue our trade as you know it", skriver Bengt Nordström.
