Tele2 hyllar svenska 800 MHz-auktionen för EU-kommissionen

Den föreslagna utformningen av 800 MHz-auktionen är balanserad, väl beredd och bra genomarbetad. Det skriver Tele2 i ett brev till Pearse O'Donohue, chef för spektrumpolicygruppen inom EU-kommissionen.

Så här skriver Tele2, som är en av de stora vinnarna på det auktionsförslag som PTS ännu så länge bara har beskrivit i väldigt enkla ordalag:

”Tele2 welcomes this elaborated stance from PTS as it is a balanced, well prepared and worked through plan. The new spectrum limit of 2x10 MHz will guarantee genuine competition in the spectrum range, as a minimum of three operators can buy spectrum within the band. Moreover, the coverage clause associated with one of the spectrum blocks is an innovative and interesting model for putting economic incentives into an otherwise less attractive investment opportunity.” /…/ ”It is clear that through deepened investigations and refined research methods, PTS has taken a decision that will ensure a continued climate of innovation, development and competition on the Swedish telecom market.”
